Elaine Crichton

Elaine Crichton

Elaine is passionate about collaborating to make things happen and her enthusiasm is reflected through the many successes of our Specialist Volunteer Network programme.

With natural warmth and enthusiasm, she is able to bring a wide network of people together to create successful lasting relationships between our professional volunteers and our charities.

Elaine is deeply interested in people and what motivates them and firmly believes in the value of bringing a diverse range of views to bare on a problem.

As a fervent advocate of the sharing of knowledge and skills, she frequently lends her own expertise and insight, garnered through nearly 30 years in financial services, on a range of issues across Inspiring Scotland and other organisations.

In conjunction with her role of heading up the Specialist Volunteer Network, Elaine has worked within the Thrive Outdoors fund and joined the Learning Disability team in 2018. She holds a number of Board positions including the Treasurer role with a small grant giving trust.
